The arXiv (pronounced “archive”, as if the “X” were the Greek letter Chi,  χ ) is a repository of electronic preprints,  known as e-prints,  of scientific pepers  in the fields of mathematics, physics, astronomy, computer science, quantitative biology, statistics, and quantitative finance, which can be accessed online.

arXiv.org  identified 16.1 million downloads from institutional domain names out of a total of 91.2 million downloads in 2014.

Open access to 1,016,517 e-prints in physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance and statistics. There is a detailed thematic catalog and possibility of search of articles on a set of criteria.

Users can retrieve papers from arXiv via the web interface. Registered authors may use our web interface to submit their articles  to arXiv.
